EDUCATION

I studied my Bsc (Hons) in Psychology from 2002-2005 at the University of Liverpool. Following this from 2010- 2013 I completed a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Leicester where I achieved my professional status as a Chartered Clinical Psychologist.

Additional qualifications to these have included a Postgraduate Certificate in Psychological Therapies, Nottingham University, Sept- 2009-Sept 2010, Advanced Diploma Cognitive Behavioural Skills, University of Derby, Sept 2008- Sept 2009, and a Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB) Counselling Skills, North Warwickshire College, Sept 2005-Sept 2006.

EXPERIENCE

I have extensive experience working in psychological teams in the NHS and charitable organisations since 2004. My specialism is working with adults with a range of difficulties. Some of these commonly include anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, obsessive compulsive disorder, low self-esteem, childhood and adulthood abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder, domestic violent experiences, eating disorders, difficulties regulating emotions, and work-related difficulties. I am also experienced with working with veterans. I have worked in a number roles in the NHS and now my time is fully dedicated to work in my private practice.
